LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - The St. John Bosco Braves defeated the Liberty High School Patriots 49-7 in the first of four games in the Polynesian Football Classic at Bishop Gorman High School.

Braves getting ready for the Bosco Charge

Overall, from the perspective of this "super" amateur high-school football analyst, the Braves played a nearly flawless game (Coach Adams will find something to yell about though) except for one glaring mishap--an onside kick the Kickoff Return team seemed not prepared for (Coach Negro will definitely work with Special Teams more closely this week).

Since the game was played in Las Vegas (first game away from Panish Family Stadium this season), we got to see if Brave Nation travels well. The answer is yes! Families, friends, and--of course--the Bosco Band made the trek.

The first offensive play of the game was an impressive display of the Brave's ability to strike not only first but lightning fast.

The Braves next game is this Friday in the first game of the Trinity League vs USA Showcase. Olney, Maryland Our Lady of Good Counsel will be flying across country to play the Braves.
