LA VERNE - The Eagles of Rancho Christian (13-2) defeated the St. John Bosco Braves (12-3) 70-58 in a semi-final game in The Classic At Damien Tournament.

At the end of the 3rd quarter, the Braves were down by 24 points to the Eagles. By the end of the game, the Braves narrowed the margin to a respectable 12 points.

Regardless of the score, the Braves shots were missing unlike the first two tournament games when their perimeter shots were falling--and, they didn't control the paint primary because of the presence of Evan Mobley of the Eagles, the top ranked player in the Class of 2020.

Senor Josh Camper had a game high 21 points for the Braves.

Bosco plays the Etiwanda Eagles (11-2) for 3rd place in the Platinum Division in the tournament on Monday at 7:00 pm. The Eagles narrowly lost to top ranked Sierra Canyon in the other semi-final game 57-53.

The Braves have 14 more regular season games after today--and, nine of them are at home. This team is exciting to watch and executes Coach Dunn's game plan flawlessly a majority of the time.
